This Privacy Policy describes how Mayhem AI ("the App", "we", "our") — accessible at social.mayhemworld.io — collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our social media scheduling and management platform. By using Mayhem AI, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data – name, email address, and password when you register in Mayhem AI.
• Social media account data – when you connect a TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or other social account to Mayhem AI, we store OAuth tokens to act on your behalf (post and schedule content).
• Content you create – posts, captions, images, and videos you schedule or publish through Mayhem AI.
• Usage data – IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage within Mayhem AI.

2. TikTok API Usage

Mayhem AI integrates with the TikTok Content Posting API to allow you to schedule and publish TikTok content directly from our platform. Specifically:

• We request the video.publish permission scope to post videos to your TikTok account on your behalf.
• We store your TikTok OAuth access token securely to fulfill scheduled posts.
• We do not sell, share, or use your TikTok data for advertising or any purpose beyond delivering the scheduling service you requested.
• You can revoke TikTok access at any time from your TikTok account settings or from your Mayhem AI dashboard.
• TikTok data access is governed by TikTok's own Privacy Policy and Developer Terms.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate Mayhem AI and fulfill scheduled social media posts on your behalf.
• To authenticate you and maintain your session securely.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g., password resets, post failure alerts).
• To improve the performance and reliability of Mayhem AI.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure providers – Hostinger (VPS hosting), Redis/PostgreSQL services.
• Social platforms – only the content and tokens required to publish your scheduled posts.
• Law enforcement – if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your Mayhem AI account at any time by contacting support@mayhemworld.io. Upon deletion, your account data and OAuth tokens are permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Security

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We use HTTPS (TLS) for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Children's Privacy

Mayhem AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of Mayhem AI after changes constitutes acceptance.
